Mothers' Day

I love my mum because...

I love my mum because she lets me play my computer games and she is special,
I love my mum because she is the best,
She makes me smile and laugh,
Her eyes shine bright like stars,
I love my mum because she watches films with me,
She may always be busy but that will never stop me from loving you,
Mum you make lovely teas and lovely cakes,
I love my mum because she takes me roller skating,
I love my mum because she does the washing for me.

You make my day.

I love my mum because she cooks the best meals,
I love my mum because her eyes are so bright,
She is the North Star but a bit more brighter,
I love my mum because she listens to me,
I love my mum because she cheers me up when I am sad,

She makes me the best I can be,
She is like a candle in my heart,
She has a good heart,
a smart brain,
and amazing courage,

I will always love you no matter what,
You are the best,
You will always be in my heart forever,
You are ecstatic and wonderful,
You shine bright whether its day or night,
You're the best because you always make me smile.

Thank you for caring for me and helping me tidy my room.

I love you so much because you are my mum and I will love you to
INFINITY AND BEYOND.

I love my mum and she love me!

Poem written by Cheetahs' Class
All the children wrote an individual poem for their mum.
Everyone then selected one line from their poem to put in the whole class version.

Lent food drive for the Norwich Food Bank

For Lent this year, our school is collecting food items and other essentials to donate to the Norwich Food Bank.

All of these lovely donations that we have so far are thanks to a family that went the extra mile to raise money at their place of work, to then go shopping to collect as many helpful items as they could.  A beautiful act of kindness!

Any donations, big or small, would be greatly appreciated by families in need.

May we all continue to be thankful for the little things that are easily taken for granted.

Young Voices

Young Voices 2019

WOW! What an amazing experience we had performing at the London 02 Arena with 9000 other children.  We sang along side some incredibly talented artists including Sharlene Hector, Beau Dermott and Tony Hadley. The Urban Stride dancers were absolutely fantastic and had everyone up and dancing including the audience!

Here we have the conductor Mark Lawrence and director/choreographer Andy Instone getting ready for the 3 hour long rehearsal!

Look and listen to our fantastic boys during their rehearsal!

The children were really chuffed to receive a YV torch to use at the event and keep afterwards - thank you to the generosity of the school PTA!

Look how high we were!

The journey home was certainly a lot quieter than the journey to the arena as i'm sure you can imagine!

The feedback from parents, staff involved and children for this event has been outstanding!  So many people have commented on what an amazing experience it was.  I can certainly say I will never forget this once in a life-time opportunity and know it will stay in the hearts and minds of our children for the rest of their lives.
